CAROLYN CANDIES ASSETS PURCHASED BY GEORGIA CANDY MAKER
Boston, GA – Dillon Candy Company located in Boston, Georgia announces the recent purchase of the assets of Carolyn Candies located in Winter Haven, Florida.
Carolyn Candies manufactured pecan rolls, jelly candies and other confections for over 60 years. Carolyn Candies was most well known among Florida businesses, but also had a loyal customer base outside of Florida.
A 7 oz. pecan roll in Carolyn Candies’ familiar orange and green Florida souvenir box is once again available to retailers. Additional candies, including jelly candies, are being considered for production and distribution under the Carolyn Candies name.
Dillon Candy Company has been hand-making specialty nut candies, including pecan rolls, since 1918. The purchase presents Dillon Candy Company with an opportunity to reach additional markets and to expand its product line.
Dillon Candy Company produces a variety of specialty nut candies including Peanut Brittle and Pecan Brittle.
